Privacy Policy

Taash Adda ("we", "the app") is a free collection of traditional Indian card and board games you play online with friends or against the computer. We keep data collection to the bare minimum needed to run a game. This policy explains what that is.

No account, no login

You do not create an account or sign in. There is no password, email requirement, or profile to register.

What we collect

• A display name and avatar you choose. The name and avatar you type in are stored on your own device (in your browser's local storage) and, while you are in a game room, in that room's temporary record so other players at your table can see who you are.
• Game-room data. While a game is in progress, the current game state (whose turn it is, cards or pawns in play, your chosen name) is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) so all players stay in sync. Each room automatically deletes itself roughly 48 hours after it was created.
• On-device stats and preferences. Your games played, wins, streaks, sound setting and chosen avatar are stored only in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
• Anonymous play counts. We keep simple daily totals, such as how many games of each kind were started and finished, how many rooms were created and how many invites were shared. Each count is just a number added to that day's total. It is stored without your name, any device ID, IP address or cookie, so it can never be linked back to you. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking service.

What we do NOT collect

• No real name, email, phone number, address, or contacts.
• No payment or financial information.
• No precise location.
• We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Advertising

The website does not currently show ads. If a mobile-app version of Taash Adda is released on an app store, it may show advertising through a provider such as Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier to serve ads. Where required, that app version will ask for your consent first. This web version remains ad-free unless stated otherwise.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage only to remember your name, avatar, preferences and on-device stats.

Children

Taash Adda is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because there is no account and no personal data required to play, a child can play without providing any personal information.

Data security & retention

Game rooms are stored on Google Firebase infrastructure and expire automatically (about 48 hours). Anything stored on your device stays on your device until you clear it. Because this is a friendly, casual, no-money game, room data is kept only as long as needed to play.

Your choices

You can clear all locally-stored data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this app. Leaving a room removes you from it; rooms auto-delete after they expire.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
